Course Information

Description

The course is a very scenic and challenging loop on a low-traffic single track that will test you with steep technical climbs and descents. The start will take you up to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail which will lead you to Trail of the Eagle, the first leg of the loop climbs 4,100' in 5 miles. Once at the top, you will join the Bear Canyon traverse trail, a beautiful rolling section near the top of Bear Canyon with incredible scenery and views. Then you will join the top of Cherry Canyon Logging Trail to descend 4'100' in 4 miles on steep fast technical downhill to reach the Bonneville Shoreline trail and back to the start/ finish area.

Course Markings

You will be following the florescent pink ribbon with signage for critical turns and juctions

Keep an eye out for caution tape that are meant to show the wrong direction. Dont cross over them!

**Make sure you are stocked up leaving the first aid station. You will have 7 miles without aid. We recommend having a filter or purification tablets as there are usually a couple running creeks along the top of the loop.

Rules and Etiquette

DNF/Drop From Race:

If you need to drop from the race you must let an aid station volunteer know you will not finish the race. You can also have someone on your behalf come to the start/finish line and notify us that you have dropped and where

We ask for your cooperation to ensure no littering on the course. We have worked hard with the US Forest Service to allow us to put the race on
