Course Information

Description

The 22-mile course follows the same scenic and challenging loop as the 11-mile route, with steep technical climbs and descents that will push your limits. Starting on the low-traffic single track, you'll ascend to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, which leads to the Trail of the Eagle. The first leg of the loop climbs 4,100 feet in 5 miles, rewarding you with incredible scenery and views as you traverse the top of Bear Canyon via the rolling Bear Canyon Traverse Trail. After joining the Cherry Canyon Logging Trail, you’ll descend 4,100 feet in 4 miles on a steep, fast, and technical downhill to reconnect with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

For the 22-mile route, instead of finishing, you'll head back towards the start/finish area but will be routed off the Bonneville Shoreline Trail about 0.25 miles before reaching it. Here, a simple aid station awaits where you'll check in before starting your second loop

**Please carefully consider your experience level before committing to a second loop. Completing two loops involves 8,000 feet of climbing and steep, fast descents, requiring advanced technical skills and endurance.

Course Markings
