About Miles
To know Miles Hefner is to love him. He has always been the most positive person in the room and that energy attracts everyone. Add in his quick wit and sense of humor and you have one of the most amazing people you will ever meet.
Miles was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in May of 2022. He responded really well to chemo treatments and was able to live on a maintenance plan until February of 2024, when he began having difficulty speaking. An MRI revealed that the cancer had spread to his brain. One tumor was putting so much pressure on his brain that he had to undergo surgery to remove it. Following surgery, he had a series of radiation treatments, and once again, his numbers looked good.
Unfortunately, in July, more brain tumors developed, and the cancer had also spread to the lining of his brain and spinal cord. This meant more radiation treatments and the difficult decision to stop working to fully focus on his health.
Through it all, Miles has kept his positive vibes and continues to live life to the fullest with his wife, Angela. They will celebrate 14 years of marriage on October 9th and are incredibly grateful for the love and support of their family and friends who have been their rock during this time. They also want to give a special shoutout to Telarus and Hughes General Contractors, who have been supportive from day one as they navigate this life-changing experience.
